Flounder Pin
In early fall, as the water gets colder, the flounder move into Bass River
and fishermen can be seen crowded onto the two bridges that span the river.
Growing up in Harwich I used to fish for them from an old schooner, the Laura
S., in Wychmere Harbor. My mother would bread and fry the fillets for our
family's dinner.
