Provincetown Monument Pin Provincetown Photo Provincetown Monument Pin

Before landing at Plymouth, the Pilgims landed at what is now Provincetown  and explored the Cape coast by shallop, searching for fresh water and a suitable harbor. A monument was built to mark the first Pilgrim landing, and it is visible from as far away as Barnstable Village. At Christmas it is strung with lights from top to bottom.
